Ars Electronica “Update: Exoskeletons – Cray X”

The Cray X from German Bionic is the world’s first connected exoskeleton for industrial work environments that, when connected to the Smart Factory, self-learns to amplify lifting movements and prevent incorrect posture. It therefore constitutes an intelligent link between humans and machines. It protects the health of workers, measurably reduces the risk of accidents and demonstrably improves work processes. Norma Steller from German Bionic presents this technological innovation, which puts people back in the focus of Industry 4.0 and can be seen in the new exhibition entitled “Working in and on the Future”, and also provides some insights into the company’s headquarters in Augsburg.

The exhibition “Working in and on the Future” will run until the end of March 2022 at the Ars Electronica Center in Linz, Austria.
